Alex is a Licensed Master of Social Work graduate from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Social Welfare. Alex brings experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults through his work in both outpatient and inpatient settings. His clinical background includes conducting biopsychosocial assessments, creating treatment plans, facilitating groups, and providing individual counseling, particularly in the areas of anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, life transitions, substance use recovery, trauma, and stress management.
In addition to his social work training, Alex is a Licensed Massage Therapist with more than 15 years of practice. He integrates this therapeutic background into his counseling approach, helping clients build deeper awareness of the mind–body connection as they heal, grow, and strengthen their relationships with others and themselves.
